ACE delivers accessible, quality and timely learning in autonomous, community settings as a valued and essential partner in Victoria's post compulsory education and training system.
Mission
To strengthen and enrich the lives of the individuals and build democratic learning communities in the Northern Metropolitan Region through actively promoting and leading the development of high quality adult, community and further education.
The values which underpin Regional Council goals, strategies, directions and decision-making are:
- Learners and Learning - through which the needs of all citizens drive and shape the planning, management and delivery of adult learning opportunities.
- Adult Community Education - through which the needs of every learner can be addressed within the greater post compulsory environment.
- Community and Partnerships - through which all stakeholders work collaboratively and co-operatively to maximise the potential of individuals and communities.
- Diversity - through which a wide range of challenging and innovative ideas enriches the breadth and effectiveness of adult education.
- Responsible and Responsive Actions - through which all decisions in public funded education address the learning needs of individuals and communities.
